Job Description

Research and strategy are at the heart of all our work in ZINC Network, and you will be a key part of the team driving this forward. As our Strategic Research Analyst, youre responsible for designing and running research, turning your analysis into actionable insights that help our clients solve complex social issues and change behaviours for good. Please note: hiring will be dependent upon receipt of funding What youll be doing * Using desk research, and other data sources (e.g. search / social data, trends, client data, public data) to work with clients to define their challenge and shape briefs that have audiences at their heart * Developing and testing hypotheses, using a variety of primary research techniques * Working with partners in academia, and in-country research agencies to design, deliver and analyse research (quantitative and qualitative) * Turning research findings into audience insight and actionable analysis * Working closely with teams across the agency to ensure work is delivered effectively and in accordance with the campaign objectives * Analysing campaign data, running ad hoc research and writing final evaluation reports * Supporting the development and application of research and strategy tools and processes across the business Requirements * Must have native or fluent Arabic language skills - Algerian / Moroccan Dialects * An appreciation of broad cognitive, social and cultural aspects of psychology and behavioural science * Experience of designing and running quantitative and/or qualitative research * Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, and an enthusiasm to develop that knowledge * Ability to accurately evaluate competing data sources and identify salient points and trends to draw sound, logical inferences. * Experience of applying research and/or behaviour-based projects to real world contexts (e.g. strategy development, intervention design) * The ability to communicate analysis of complex information clearly, helping others to make good use of research evidence * An enthusiasm for (and ideally experience of) working on complex social, cultural and political projects
