Job Description
Facilities Assistant The Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is an expert surgical Trust, specialising in Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery and Burns. We are looking for 4 full time Facilities Assistants' to join us. This post is primarily performing cleaning and Portering duties in clinical, non-clinical and public areas of the premises. There may also be occasional kitchen duties. The post holder is expected to meet the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS, maintaining cleaning and housekeeping standards. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but enthusiasm and experience of working in a team are equally important. There are Three available positions 1) Facilities Assistant /Porter role Hours 07:00 - 15:00 or 11:00 - 19:00 (including weekends) 2) Facilities Assistant / Porter role 11:00 - 19:00 Mon-Fri only 3) Facilities Assistant / Domestic position; 06:00-14:00 The successful applicant may also, on occasion, be expected to work 12:00-20:00. There may be some weekend working that forms part of this position. The Applicant must be flexible within the role.
