Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant to join the well-established Endocrinology and Diabetes team at Hillingdon Hospital The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of our comprehensive services including : general diabetes , metabolic and endocrine clinics , transition diabetes , young adult diabetes , pre - pregnancy diabetes , maternity endocrine clinic , T1DM technologies ( pump and continuous glucose monitoring ) service , diabetic nephropathy , podiatry and wound care. We have links to the regional thyroid cancer clinic and close working relationship with the Vascular Hub coordinated by London North West University Healthcare. There is opportunity to work with colleagues in developing the department's expanding renal diabetes or technologies T1DM service (pump and CGM) as part of the 'Super Six' model of diabetes care adopted locally. We aim to build a high quality clinical service by bringing new skills into the Diabeticare unit and promoting learning and development.
