Job Description
We are now recruiting full time Host/Hostess at our new store opening in Tottenham Court Road! Eggslut is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in Los Angeles in 2011. It's inspired by a true love for eggs. The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist. All-encompassing our key ingredient, eggs. In August 2019 we opened the first restaurant in Europe - London, Portobello Road, and we are looking for the best professionals to join this exiting project! HOST/HOSTESS Overall Responsibilities: • Welcome our customers at the store, host them with guidance and support, and constantly exceeding their expectations with fun and friendly customer service • Ensure customers are served with our best service standards • Have an excellent understanding of Eggslut's food and drinks menus • Take correct orders and be proactive in making suggestions and recommendations • Ensure tables are cleared and kept tidy throughout service • Ensure the restaurant areas are always clean and tidy • Deal with customers in a friendly, warm, courteous, and professional way at all times • Constantly exceed expectations with fun and friendly customer service • Happily assist staff from other departments when requested Essential Skills and Attributes • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Communicate confidently with everyone • Be positive and have smiley attitude • Be passionate about food • Have great customer service skills • Works calmly and efficiently under pressure • Exemplary standards of personal hygiene and presentation • Have ambition to grow within Eggslut Benefits • Competitive salary • Structured company induction programme • Pension scheme • Paid holiday allowance • Staff uniform is provided • Staff discount scheme • Potential for further career development, as the brands grow Eligibility to live and work in the UK is a mandatory requirement for the recruitment process.
