Job Description As a Proposition Leader you will be working at forefront of Arcadis' climate change and sustainability agenda within the UK and be responsible for developing and implementing solutions for us and our clients in the UK Climate resilience market. You will help us do that by shaping the climate resilience agenda of not only Arcadis, but also our clients. Climate change and rapid urbanization mean our world is a more complex place. It's why we need bright thinkers, people who can deliver sustainable solutions that can focus equally on developing business opportunities and innovate propositions to our clients, whilst simultaneously providing thought leadership and technical expertise. The role is predicted to generate 6m per annum of new high margin business within three years and deliver 2m of new revenues within the first 12 months. It's a big challenge. At Arcadis we believe that in order for our climate change agenda to be successful, we need to take a cross business approach and deliver it consistently across all our sectors. This is why this role will be essential in defining projects both internally within Arcadis and for our clients across the Buildings, Infrastructure, Energy, Water, Environmental, Safety and Industry. We want to establish Arcadis as a top three player across the UK Climate Resilience Market and to establish Arcadis as a key brand in Climate Change Response. Your Day-to-Day: * Develop Arcadis strategy for the UK Climate Resilience & Sustainability market * Manage interfaces with internal stakeholders including main UK Business Lines (Infrastructure, Buildings and WEESI), Technical Leadership, and internal Sustainability Team (UK and Globally) * Draw on Arcadis-wide capability to develop and implement market relevant propositions at attractive margins * Win new revenues within the Climate Change Response sector - 6m pa within three years * Establish Arcadis eco-system/s of partners for this market * Develop Arcadis thought leadership within the market raising our external profile * Delivery of the Climate Change Response go-to-market plan Requirements * Experience working as a Senior Lead for Climate Changed and/or Sustainability in a related field. * The ability to identify new market opportunities for potential business, develop differentiated market propositions and set pursuits briefs reflecting the client's needs/restrictions, to win new business and become the Consultancy of choice for Climate Change response. * Deep sector and market knowledge in climate change- trends, technologies, legislation, and market opportunities * The drive, energy, and entrepreneurial ability to break into a new market delivering sustainable growth. Experience in developing new revenues within the Climate Resilience or related markets * Experienced in market strategy development and implementation with an appetite for discovering new and innovative ways of addressing climate resilience. P&L experience and ability to manage risk when implementing new market entry strategies * A natural communicator with strong influencing skills across industry relevant network at C-Suite and senior executive level * Collaborative, motivated and proactive with a passion for building internal teams within a complex set of stakeholders Why Arcadis?
