APPOINTMENT HAEMOGLOBINOPATHY COORDINATING CENTRE DELIVERY MANAGER BAND 5 ROYAL LONDON HOSPITAL Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a dynamic team of staff working to deliver our vision for the newly created haemoglobinopathy coordinating centre based at the Royal London hospital. Haemoglobinopathy coordinating centres (HCC) are newly specialist commissioned services created to support specialist haemoglobinopathy teams to deliver and coordinate the care children and adults with haemoglobinopathy and rare congenital anaemias receive across a region. As such they are responsible for monitoring standards, supporting service development and education. The haemoglobinopathy service at Barts Health has been designated an HCC for sickle cell disease for the North East London and Essex region and a Thalassaemia and rare congenital anaemia HCC for North East London, Essex and the South East of England. The postholder will have responsibility for providing administrative support to the Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre (HCC). A key role of the post will be the utilisation of technology and maintenance of databases and online platforms. They will work with all NHS Trusts within the wider network and lead in the production and delivery of robust and accurate performance monitoring data to all stakeholders. They will be responsible for ensuring all Trust-wide systems and processes are in place in order to deliver the work of the HCC.
