What you will do Our team of Major Project Group are dedicated to delivering high quality major projects across a broad range of sectors. We provide fire suppression (including sprinkler systems), fire detection, life safety, building management systems, security and integrated solutions to end users, developers and contractors. The role of the Commissioning Engineer within our Integrated Security Solutions team is to provide, Commissioning support on CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarms. You will work across a variety of major projects in the London area. You will support our team of Project Managers and technical teams whilst providing expert knowledge based around your install and service background. We look for our engineers to have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. How you will do it * Review of system design prior to installation works and highlighting of any apparent technical, functional or compatibility issues * Provide the Project Manager with the required level of technical and commissioning support for the duration of the project * Ensure the system is installed and functions in accordance with all relevant industry standards and that activities comply with customer and company health and safety procedures * Commissioning and configure system to meet the design specification and customer requirements * Provide technical troubleshooting expertise and manufacturer liaison when required * Conducting project handover and ensuring all relevant documents are passed to the Project Manager * On larger projects act as the single point of contact to organise on-site activities What we look for * Proven commissioning experience on large projects within a background in CCTV, Access Control and Integrated Systems * Working knowledge of mainstream Access Control, CCTV systems and networking * Ability to manage both internal & external stakeholders at all levels * Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
