Ciena makes your social / entertainment / business existence REAL. What will you do at Ciena? Responsible for accelerating the Partner Program within the EMEA Region. This integral team member will track & manage the individual partner program plans into an overall business plan whilst developing and managing Partner priorities and assisting with business development and other partner facing activities. Responsibilities * Create and manage the operationalmetrics for the relevant Regional Partner Leader and Partner Primes to ensure partner success/level attainment. * Provide local support to theappropriate sales and marketing teams in region for key requirements to enhance the Partner program. * Lead Ciena's Partner Program activities within the region and provide expertise for the CPN program for partners. * Viewed internally as a CPN Champion and as such, will be measured by Partner program adoption rate, and operational success within the Partner market. * Drive the enablement of partners by collaborating with partner primes through implementation of: * Joint business planning, Boot camps, Training/certifications, Marketing campaigns, Services accreditation (including all relevant CPN tools e.g. partner central, sales and design academy, deal registration, gamification & MDF) General Activities * Implement enablement model frameworks that include metrics that can be used to evaluate and drive usage of the partner tools, partner process and programs (key inputs for scorecards and indexes) and overall effectiveness of the CPN program in region * Champion utilization of the partner tools within the Ciena sales team through training and communications * Collaborate with the regional marketing team to promote the program/tools and all relevant events to partners * Develop program processes and templates required to fulfill the partner requirements * Work as part of the Regional Partner organization to ensure efficient execution, strategic alignment and consistency of the program * Conduct business development initiatives to drive Ciena participation with key programs to drive demand and net new partner business * Lead onboarding activities with new partners and new employees within existing partners. * Guide partners through 30-60-90 day onboarding tasks to ensure program fluency. * Document and share regional feedback on program elements/processes with GPO program owners * Engage with Ciena regional field sales teams and Enterprise direct touch across the region as appropriate Experience * Outstanding operational skills, the ability to quantify and report onpartner success in sales and satisfying CPN metrics * Business Development and sales skills * Collaborative and influencing skills with ability to work across regions and across different leaders and individual contributors * Strong communication skills, creativity, tenacity and high energy * Abilityto work within a team oriented and innovative environment * Excellent written and presentation skills proven at all levels inside and outside of the company * Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiations and problem-solving skills * Strong Inside Partner Management skills * Ability to understand / articulate technical solutions and translate these into demonstrable business benefits * Highly motivated professional with the ability for self-management and strong interpersonal skills * Ability to handle many competing priorities within multiple opportunities * Constantly demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to handle many competing priorities * Works with colleagues internally and externally in a collaborative way for mutual benefit * A team player with a good sense of humor that transmits his / her energy and enthusiasm to others * Trustworthy with a strong sense of integrity * 2+ years of progressive experience in the Operations / Channel industry * BA / BS or Masters, preferable in quantitative field or in Business or relevant work experience * Background inbusiness operationsthat maintain the focus on partners attaining sales success while achieving their CPN target metrics *LI-CN AboutCiena Cienais a network strategy and technology companywith apassion to provide an experience, to you and our customers that is as rewarding as the outcome.We attract the best and brightest- those with outstanding talent, motivation, and the right attitude to contribute to our success.
