Role Title: Department / Team: Shopper Marketing Executive Customer Strategy Reports to (Managers title): Location: TBC DMGT offices, High Street Kensington Last update (Date): 6th March 2015 The purpose of the role is to: At Mail newspapers, we are constantly seeking ways to offer the best value to our readers. To achieve this, we are putting increasing focus on how we reach our customers and make decision based on data, factual insight and by segmenting our retail estate. As Shopper Marketing Executive, the successful candidate will: * Through use of shopper and market data (Mintel, Kantar, IGD, dunnhumby, HIM!, EPoS), make recommendations to help constantly shape the retail sales strategy * Segmentation of our retail estate to enable targeting based on shopper mission i.e. subscription redemption vs. HND vs. destination vs. casual * Use shopper data and customer data to create promotional solutions for the Sales Managers * Create compelling sales presentations using the shopper, market and customer data to support the Sales Managers in their retail meetings * Working closely with the circulation analysis team, compile detailed promotional reviews * Working with the Subscriptions Manager, input to the most customer relevant subscription and Home News Delivery campaigns * Support the wider Marketing and Advertising teams with relevant shopper insight
