Job Description
The Sales Director Digital Insights will be responsible for ensuring the Northern EMEA Critical Mass Territory (CMT) achieves its planned business objectives as defined by the Hitachi Vantara Corporate Mission and Objectives Statements and the annual operating plan (AOP) for Digital Insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing aggressive growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans to further penetrate the Digital Insights suite of solutions across all markets. The responsibility of this role is to drive the Hitachi Vantara portfolio of data access, optimization, management and mobility solutions offerings with a consultative, programmatic sales approach to increasing strategic customer value and enabling new account acquisition opportunities in all customer segments. This position will report into the Vice President - General Manager for Digital Insights. Responsibilities * Manage, motivate and mentor the Northern EMEA sales team aligned to the Digital Insights solutions portfolio * Ensure the business revenue and margin objectives are met whilst delivering results related key strategic initiatives * Forecast business accurately and timely * Build and strengthen the business relationship with targeted customer executives, partner leaders and alliance leaders to create strong ecosystem * Closely align sales and strategy with other sales leaders in the region * Coordinate with Field Marketing to develop and execute regional events * Motivate matrixed resources to engage with sales team and drive accountability * Set team expectations in alignment with company strategy and manage transformation * Hire, train and manage a high-performing team across the multiple countries comprising the Northern region * Ensure correct reporting of business and sales activity within SFDC Qualifications * Proven sales leadership experience, developed through progressively more challenging roles within the analytics, data management and IT software space and in multi-national organisations with cross-country responsibilities * Track record in setting up indirect sales channels * Knowledgeable of relevant market dynamics, customer base and competition * Proven business excellence and above average performance with strong ethical standards * A strong sales and business leader with vision in driving strategic plans to deepen and broaden sales penetration in the CMT marketplace * Ability to establish a strong strategic presence and trusted advisor relationships at CXOs and above levels * Previous experience of wide scale business transformation efforts for continual success * Ability to effectively interface, influence and garner support from company resources productively and collaboratively across the overall company * Possessing a high degree of self-confidence and motivation to seek out expert counsel from internal and external experts * Possess effective organisational, time management and verbal and written communication skills * Ideally candidates will possess a university degree in technology, engineering, sciences or business We are an equal opportunity employer.
