Locations: INTL-London The Vendor Recruiter is responsible for providing support to the Vendor Recruitment department through daily assistance with linguist recruitment and testing, database maintenance. Description: * Provide on-the-job support to the Vendor Recruitment team and Department Manager * Proactively recruit new resources to expand the company's database of external linguists * Test recruited linguists according to specialized skill sets and the company's testing & on-boarding process * Negotiate preferred rates with recruited linguists according to company, department or project needs * Promote newly recruited and tested linguists to the appropriate production teams for use on live projects and to internal linguistic teams for training opportunities * Assist production and sales teams on a daily basis with vendor recruitment-related issues and questions * Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract Translators, Proofreaders, Production staff and Internal Linguists globally * Assist with administration tasks as required * Strategize with direct manager to find a viable means of making processes more efficient * Attend trade shows and conferences as needed * Proactively seek additional tasks and duties to benefit TransPerfect Translations as a whole * Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect Translations markets to, including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data * Be knowledgeable in and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the translation industry, including leaders, competitive data, proposal formats, competitive rates, and marketing strategies * Complete any other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor Required skills: * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills * High sense of urgency * Strong interpersonal skills in a public-facing setting * Market Research skills * Effective time management * Proactive attitude * Accountability Required experience and qualifications * Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Experience in negotiating and persuasion * Customer service experience
