Job Description
The UK Sports team is looking for a self-driven Vendor Management candidate who is eager to learn, think strategically and analytically to grow our UK Sports business. The ideal candidate will be able to think creatively, identify business opportunities, improve processes and have a high degree of flexibility and commitment. They will have strong communications skills and feel comfortable working in both a team environments and self prioritzing based on business impact. They will play a critical role in managing small portfolio of strategic Sports brands to drive the profitability and topline performance for their category as well as defining strategies for growth in the market segment. They will also lead a number of local and EU wide processes so the ability to influence others with strong communication skills is key. Key responsibilities include. - Manage day to day vendor relationships. - Prioritise business opportunities. - Manage new item set up processes. - Analyze business and promotional performance. - Work with partner teams (Instock, marketing, EU based vendor management teams). - Present new ideas and ways of working. - Improve our current working practices.
