Job Description

Responsible for coordinating critical claims operational activities within the UK Property claims team. The role includes (but is not limited to) accountability for implementation of strategic and local initiatives through effective stakeholder and project management. Working with the Regional Operations Lead and the Head or Property Claims - UK, the role will play a pivotal part in the day to day operations and continuous improvement agenda of the UK Property Claims Team. The role will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders across the region in order to improve engagement and to best advance the local and regional team business objectives. DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include? Maintain core knowledge of all operational systems and related business best practice. Act as a superuser for all claims systems. Support Regional Operations Lead to deliver regional objectives. This may involve leading individual regional cross product workstreams. Drive local working groups assigned to deliver on Rapid Results Initiatives (RRIs) within the Claims organisation, with support of the Regional Operations Lead Data collation and reporting required to support the operations of the local team i.e. FIC/SOX reports, regulatory reporting, loss runs/event claims listings/watch list reporting, trend monitoring/reporting, production of monthly MI packs, monitoring of Enterprise Shared Services (ESS)/outsourced claims performance, SLA performance. Responsible for the efficient and effective engagement with ESS, to include: - Creation of, and seeking sign-off for, Work Transfer Plans in partnership with Shared Services Transition Lead, Head of Property Claims - UK/Claims Product Managers, Regional Operations Lead and peers across the UK Claims team. - Evaluate the benefits and manage the effectiveness of transitions, along with the continued performance of services being performed. - Ensuring SLAs and oversight are put in place for any work that is transitioned.
