Job Description
Who you'll be working with Capgemini's financial services specialists provide a complete range of services to help our clients capture sustainable business results. Our Financial Services Strategic Business Unit (FS SBU) is a global organization that focuses on key financial services domains, including banking, capital markets, insurance, cards & payments, wealth & asset management, and risk management & compliance. In addition to these domain areas, we have global practices that are dedicated to building innovative solutions in the areas of business information management, channels, finance transformation, technology development & integration, and testing. The focus of your role Major banks and insurance companies are outsourcing transformation programmes on a regular basis to Capgemini. In most cases, these are highly complex programmes that have major impacts on the multiple business lines of our clients. We use new technologies, and several Capgemini business units work together in a "distributed delivery model" to deliver such programmes. It's important that we have the right person to deliver these programmes. Are you that person? What you'll do * "Finetune" the details, working with our business developers and our technical experts to the develop the solutions, the "winning strategy" * Be involved in commercial and contract negotiations * Take responsibility for the full delivery life-cycles of the programmes * Actively head technology delivery on the programmes, ensuring that the technology solutions and their delivery are appropriate to the briefs, and that change governance is managed effectively * Manage risks and issues proactively to avoid escalations, and drive all stakeholders through action items for closure of risks and issues What you'll bring * Natural leadership abilities, with a motivation to deliver excellent results in collaboration with others * The ability to capitalise on commercial opportunities, with the execution power to meet the expectations * Significant experienceof managing complex, fixed price, fixed scope IT transformation programmes (2-3 year implementation periods, budgets of 15-30m+, distributed delivery teams of 200-300+ members) * Strong knowledge of the financial services domain - insurance in particular (at least an awareness of how the delivery of IT transformation in areas such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, CRM, integrations and MI is utilised in an insurance context) * Sound knowledge of digital technologies i.e. cloud, automation, artificial intelligence, digital front-ends etc, with the ability to delve into the details of the solution to ensure appropriate support and guidance is provided Why we're different At Capgemini, we help organisations across the world become more agile, more competitive and more successful.
