Title: Programme Manager- Vaccines Number of Positions: 1 Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Individual to join the Vaccines team as a Programme Manager. AutoReqId: 844BR Additional info: Vaccines are among the most successful and cost-effective healthcare interventions in human history. They save countless lives every year. For the world to be better prepared to combat infectious diseases, we urgently need new and improved vaccines. And we need to make sure that the people who need them can use them. The Vaccines priority team here at Wellcome explores how best to stimulate research, technology development and policy to address this critical unmet need. This is a key strategic initiative for Wellcome, with an initial investment of 175m over 5 years. It's an exciting time to join the team, as we work to develop and integrate into a Wellcome-wide strategic focus. The programme manager will work closely with the Head of Vaccines and workstream leads across the team to develop and ensure delivery of plans, prepare and manage budgets and reports and ensure risks are known in advance, mitigated or managed. They will manage the governance and reporting process for a portfolio of related projects, ensuring the vaccines team has the tools, expertise and resource it requires to deliver its outcomes and aligns to the wider organisation's vision, objectives and control environment. A truly unique opportunity for an individual who has demonstrable interest in global public health, and the knowledge and experience of a range of project and/or programme management disciplines and methodologies, including a good understanding of the control environment.
