Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist mental health trust providing adult mental health services, older people's and young people's mental health services, substance misuse services, forensic services and learning disability services to Essex. The Trust also provides Community Health Services within South East Essex, West Essex and Bedfordshire and the Trust wide immunisation services providing immunisations in schools across the county We are seeking an individual with drive, initiative, enthusiasm and good communication skills to join our pharmacy team as a pharmacy support worker based in Chelmsford. You should be a team player and able to function efficiently. You need to have a good standard of basic education including five GCSEs (or equivalent) which must include English and Maths. Basic calculation skills are essential as the candidate will need to achieve the mandatory units for an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services. Full training and support will be provided for candidates who have not already undertaken this training. Previous experience of working in a hospital or community pharmacy would be an advantage, but not essential. The post involves working alongside our clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide integrated pharmaceutical care for service users in the Trust to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medicines.
