National Account Manager - Southampton - £40,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance Bond Williams are delighted to be working on behalf of one of the UK's leading technology brands. This is a busy role that will require someone with excellent relationship and management skills and has had previous experience within sales/marketing in the consumer electronics market. You will be expected to provide objectives and targets to maximise sales to its full potential of our client's extensive range. The role responsibilities will be: * Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity. * Help manage personal business portfolio and territory management according to an agreed market development strategy. * Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. * Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems when necessary. * Visit our clients retail and trade accounts on a regular basis to ensure they are fully trained on all products. * Ensure all POS material is available and displayed in the shops as intended. * Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information. * Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. * Attend Internal and external training sessions and develop relevant knowledge base, techniques and skills. * Cultivate a good working relationship with their customers to maintain and build ongoing sales relationships. * Attend sales events where required. Skills required are: * You will need to have previous experience within sales/marketing in the consumer electronics market. * A proven background in working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. * You will possess a positive and determined attitude. * A strong team player with excellent time management and presentation skills. * Exemplary interpersonal and relationship skills. * Proven technical aptitude with consumer electronics/marine electronics. * Available to travel for business domestically and internationally as required. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - and Excel. * A full clean driving license.
