Facilities Transport Driver (ADR) (Three Required) Band 2 (Salary) 37.5 Hours - Monday to Friday Internal Transport Department The Transport Department provides corporate and courier services for Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group and the Hillingdon Hospitals in the West London and surrounding areas. The Department is responsible for the delivery and collection of samples, post and clinic supplies, shuttle bus (D1 licence) and the collection and disposal of clinical waste plus high volumes of medical records and any other task that support the Hospital that Transport can provide. Responsibilities We require friendly, flexible, responsible staff, you will act on your own initiative as well as work as part of a team, with excellent communication, customer care and driving skills. You will need to be able to pass a standard DVLA (D4) medical, hold a D1 mini-bus licence. There is heavy lifting, pushing/pulling of trolleys, loading and unloading of the courier vans. Operation areas are London (central and outer) mainly covering Hillingdon, South Bucks & Oxford. Drivers are rotated across all the routes and vehicle types. Vehicles on the fleet range from cars, light small vans, 3.5 tonne tail-lift luton vans and 17 seated mini-bus (if you hold a D1 licence). These posts will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau checks.
