Job Description
What is the opportunity? EV Cargo Logistics at St Albans is looking to recruit 2x Transport Clerk`s on a permanent contract. This role is based on a '4 on 4 off' nights shift pattern, working 12 hours per day, 19:00-07:00. Applicants will need to be flexible to fit the needs of the operation where required. You have provided administrative support to the key areas in a transport department such as Transport Operations, Fleet and Compliance Management & Driver Training Department. Key Duties & Responsibilities include: * Day to day support for the Transport Operation, Fleet and Compliance department and the driver Training Department * Answering phones and dealing with enquiries from drivers * Calling stores and drivers to give instructions and request information * Completing and issuing of paperwork for third parties collecting loads * Data entry consisting of excel spreadsheets and other transport data bases * Collating information and figures into KPI reports for the TTM's and DM's * Downloading driver digital tachograph cards - Checking for infringements and start and finish times * Using transport systems to assist in their job role Why EV Cargo Logistics?
