For individuals with a background in analysis, coding or data visualisation, this role offers the opportunity to drive and develop a talented team to adopt creative approaches to data manipulation and presentation. You and your team will work autonomously and in partnership with stakeholders at all levels across a wide variety of projects. We are looking for a candidate that will help us drive our MI reporting and analysis to the next level. You will be based within our Resource Planning Centre, which is the area within Operations responsible for making data-driven decisions to ensure that we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time - ensuring we meet our customer demands. We believe that information is critical to making key decisions. To enable the business to make effective and informed decisions, we deliver timely, accurate and relevant information through our three core teams: (1) Planning: developing the short, medium and long term profile of the resources we need and driving decisions on how we fill these needs. (2) Demand Management: the function that schedules resource to meet short term demand realigning resource real time as assumptions on customer demand and/or supply of resources change. (3) MI & Data Analysis: reporting on our operational performance, analysing the underlying trends and providing insight to specific business questions. As manager of the MI and Data Analysis team, you will be responsible for coordinating analytical techniques to solve problems and challenges facing the organisation. These can involve analysis at all stages of the data cycle, from the acquisition and collation of data, structuring and testing data transformation processes, analysis and reporting, and archival and re-use. You will also be responsible for awareness and application of rules, control checks and validation as required, including those contained in the data governance and organisational change processes.
