Summary The Control Assurance area provides technical and subject matter expertise to support the broader DS Operational business across Edinburgh & Witham with core focus on Customer Services. The core areas of work for the team are as follows: Root cause and risk analysis (incidents and breaches) Risk and controls reporting Risk event management, oversight and governance across incidents, breaches, data protection & info sec breaches Monitor, review and supporting risk actions e.g. internal audit, compliance monitoring, policy gap, risk acceptances, SOX deficiencies Supporting key change programmes 1st line assurance and testing activity Quality model oversight SOX programme support BAU control checks e.g. FCDS markers User entitlement reviews Signatory list review and updates Subject access requests (SAR)Job Description Summary of Job Purpose: Control Assurance Administrators will support the operational control framework across the relevant business areas.For the purpose of this role, Control Assurance includes, SoX compliance, CASS and Conduct risk compliance, Incident management, Breaches management, internal policy compliance. They will support the Control Assurance Analyst(s) in order to deliver effective workflow management and reporting which includes the following core responsibilities: * * Perform centralised AUK SAR process * Perform oversight of key daily, weekly and monthly controls escalating when issues or anomalies arise * Review, maintain and update Signatory Lists * Support review of the quality model * Support production of daily dashboards/ monthly MI packs for Control Assurance and wider Operations (Incidents and Breaches Dashboards, SAR MI, KCC MI; DSMC MI). * Collation of Audit samples and completion of User Entitlement Reviews * Perform control testing of operational processes, where necessary. * Escalation of potential issues/risks to Control Assurance Analyst(s) and line manager. * Liaison with 2nd Line Risk, IT & Change, Legal, Finance, Project teams as required. To deliver in this role, the job holder must demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the platform proposition, the tax wrappers, and the technology. Industry knowledge along with an understanding of the regulatory environment. Must have a flexible, can-do approach, taking full responsibility for delivering the best outcome for customers.
