I am currently working with a FTSE250 company in Defence and Security on the look out for a QlikSense Technical Lead / ERP Technical Lead. Role: Qlik Sense Technical Lead Contract: 6 Months (Possibility to extend) Day Rate: £500-£600p/d Location: West London Start Date: ASAP My client intends to move to a model of standard back office business processes across the organisation. The ERP Programme was created to deliver this outcome of standard "back office" processes, but also to develop a standard ERP template that provides a standard ERP set-up in manufacturing, supply chain, and project management across the group. In this role you will be responsible for interacting with stakeholders, understanding their reporting needs and requirements and delivering solutions to meet their specifications. The position requires supporting Qlik applications users both from a technical and functional perspective and liaising with various key stakeholders. It also requires significant internal client contact and you must possess excellent communication, consulting, and analytical skills to effectively manage client expectations. You should be able to function in a close team environment and communicate effectively within the team. Having a solution driven mind-set and a high level of attention to detail with the ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on time, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment are critical for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: * Identification and analysis of business requirements and processes from across a wide manufacturing business * Designing and implementation of analytical applications and digital reporting solutions with Qlik-Sense, HTML and Qlik-NPrinting. * Planning and implementation of data models and ETL processes * Development of Qlik-Sense architectures and strategies * Gathering and understanding Business requirements * Presenting data and results in the most insightful way through appropriate visualization to improve key business outcomes * Project and technical management of own projects Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Essential: * 3+ years professional and industry experience with Qlik Sense and Qlikview * 3+ years professional Qlik NPrinting experience * Qlik scripting and excellent data modelling skills * Advanced Qlik scripting * Qlik Sense Management Console with security rules * Advanced Relational database SQL and scripting knowledge * Advanced Excel Skills * Excellent communication skills, written and oral - confident dealing with all levels of business and stakeholders including senior management * Problem solving and solid analytical skills * Willingness to work within a team especially for efficient and desired deliverables * Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical business users Desirable: * Qlik Sense Data Architect certification * Working knowledge of Qlik Sense Mashups * Experience in performing Qlik upgrades * Experience training business and super users * Willingness to travel between sites in Gloucestershire and London * IFS knowledge and experience Qualifications: * Postgraduate degree in business analysis, computer science, business analytics or similar Role Requirements: * Flexibility to travel within UK * Full driving license * Ability to obtain Security clearance
