Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for band 5 staff nurses to join the dynamic and supportive team in our local neonatal unit at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The unit has 12 cots consisting of 2 intensive care, 2 high dependencies and 8 special care cots. We care for babies born above 27 weeks gestation. This role is open to newly qualified nurses supported by a great preceptorship programme. We pride ourselves on having an environment where your development matters We are looking for registered nurses with excellent communication skills to join us. Part time hours would be considered. If you are a registered nurse or midwife considering a new challenge this role may be perfect for you, you do not need to be a children's nurse to have a successful career in Neonatal Care. In return you will be supported through the network preceptorship programme to develop your clinical skills. In the future we would be able to support you in becoming a neonatal nurse, qualified in this speciality.
