Job Description

Staff Nurse McGill Ward - Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Location: Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester Role Description: McGill is an acute assessment ward accepting admissions 24 hours per day from both ED and GPs. You will be responsible for a bay of patients during the shift under the leadership, support and management of a band 6 & Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse. You will also have the opportunity to work in the high acuity area on the ward and within our developing ambulatory care area. Full/ part-time / Flexible / Night only hours available Flexible working patterns will considered for all nursing applicants! We have two areas of high care level for the two different sexes and an ambulatory care unit which is used to take ambulatory patients that have been referred from GP. Our ward is led by a Clinical Matron with a large and experienced senior team of professionals helping each other to meet their full potential while providing high quality and compassionate care.
