*New Job* Director of Engineering Community - £100,000 + stocks and bonus. Remote/London This is going to be an epic role for the right person to join one of the UK's most exciting start-ups who are fast becoming true industry leaders. They have quickly grown to 30 people based across the UK, with a HQ in London and building cloud native products for some big companies. They have a made a real name for themselves within this space and looking to duplicated their success here to the US before the end of the year. I'm going to keep this advert short and sweet as would prefer to discuss in depth over the phone. I am looking for a director of community someone who wants to step away from day to day engineering and/or management and start driving product adoption and community growth. You'll come from an engineering or DevOps background and be able to work and thrive in a fast growing start-up. Your role will be led by you, you'll be online creating a name for yourself through social media and slack, an advocate for the open source and cloud community. Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, technical blogs, webinars, whitepapers and tutorials. You'll be building strong relationships with others in the open source/cloud community and guide best practice and be the innovator for customers, users and the technical community which you'll be involved in.
