You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. A vacancy has arisen for a full time Band 3 Peer Recovery Worker within NHS South Community Addiction Services. You should have experience in supporting people with addiction problems and display a positive attitude towards enhancing addiction service users' individual recovery. You will act as a role model for stakeholders and service users through personal lived experience of drug and alcohol issues. You should have some experience in supporting people with addiction problems and display a positive attitude towards enhancing addiction service users' individual recovery. You should also have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and promote continuing professional development. Experience of working in a related community setting is desirable. This is an exciting and progressive development for an individual wishing to progress in the addiction field who has unique qualities and experience that will enhance and inform the range of supports available to people attending NHS Addiction Services A car owner/driver is essential, as you will be required to work across South Ayrshire locality area.
