Contract Type - Permanent Hours per week - 37.5 hours per week You will work as an integrated member of the Estates and Facilities Team, and will participate in the provision of services in Bridlington and across the Trust, as part of a multi-disciplinary team within: * Catering * Portering * Domestics * Estates * Grounds Transport * Environment Services Full training will be provided within each speciality, to enable the post holder to become fully proficient. You will be flexible, a good team player, and be able to work various shifts to meet the needs of the service. Shifts will include regular weekend hours that are paid at enhanced rates. For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to progress across the Estates and Facilities Directorate, including supervisory, engineering and management positions. Structured training will be an integral part of this role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to be adaptable and flexible, in order to work variable hours. You must be able to use initiative, be self motivated and have strong interpersonal, and organisational/time management skills, You must have a good basic level of education (4 GCSE's including English and Maths), or a relevant NVQ Level 2, or equivalent BTEC ( or C & G qualifications). Previous experience/knowledge of customer service, food service, health and safety, and of working in an engineering/maintenance environment are essential, as is the ability to undertake instruction and training relevant to the post. Applicants must have the ability to transport themselves and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day.
