Job Description
Finance Business Partner - VR/20870 The Company & Role: Our client is the UK's leading independent logistics and trade management provider. They are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner based in Northampton. We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner for our client to support the Business Unit and Business Leaders in financial and management reporting, based in Tilbury, London. Responsibilities Producing timely and accurate management financial reports Ensuring local reports and central accounts are reconciled regularly and accurately so that all data is consistent and robust Providing analysis and insight into business performance, identifying areas of improvement in order to drive profitability, cash delivery and support strategic goals Understanding and interpreting customer and supplier contract, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms from a financial perspective Supporting leadership team decision making Assuring sector compliance with corporate standards and financial controls providing strong governance and mitigating risks Working alongside the team to prepare budgets and forecasts, along with ongoing variance reporting Building financial awareness in non-financial managers to ensure that all understand how they can impact on the business performance Supporting business projects, including implementation of new contracts As part of the Warehouse and Transport leadership team, shaping business strategy and progress towards this Developing strong relationships with team members, key customer contacts and stakeholders across the sector and wider organisation Essential Skills and Experience An understanding of the logistics sector is a must Part qualified ACCA or CIMA if possible.
