Our client is looking for a Finance Officer:


This individual will be responsible for providing financial support to meet the organizations' financial obligations to its donors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified Accountant or Bachelors Degree in Accounting along with a minimum of 3 years experience working on financial management of projects.

Knowledge and extensive experience using QuickBooks. PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE IN QUICKBOOKS IS A MUST.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge and practice of generally accepted accounting principles.

Supervise support staff in the Finance Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare accurate monthly financial statements using a computerized accounting package of Quickbooks to meet specific deadlines.

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other accounting transactions.

Lead the Finance team including the inventory team.

Establish effective relationships and contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, and other financial needs as necessary

Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement

Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
