Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join Integral as a Senior Project Manager in our Projects Division, covering London and South East. We are looking for someone to join a growing business, with the opportunity to lead multiple projects and develop their career in a fast moving and growing business. Job Purpose: * To lead and manage a number of projects safely and provide a quality and timely service in a professional manner to our customers throughout London and South East region whilst delivering consistent high quality fully compliant, zero defect building services installations. Produce monthly reporting including programme, progress and liaise with the Commercial team to report costs and profit on each project to the business. * To assist and develop new Building Services opportunities and aid the team in generating new customers within the relevant region delivering consistent, cash-backed profit for the Business and growing the End-User Client base. * To understand and liaise with all Integral customers to safely provide a quality service to throughout London and South East region building long term relationships and growing Integral Building Services. Aims and Objectives: * To lead your team to deliver the company's "Management Expectations" successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets. * To identify and develop profitable opportunities through the Procurement opportunity prior to the project commencing. Increase the profitability of the project through Procurement and VE opportunities. * To broaden Integral geographical coverage within the region. * Ensure compliance to all Integral Group policies during the Project Installation and during PC Handover. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * To deliver financial targets to meet established objectives, this will include the reporting of financial status with the aid of the Site Commercial team into the Operations Manager and Commercial Manager. * To take responsibility for the overall performance of the Project team. * To lead, motivate and develop the site based team. * To lead the relevant site based project team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. * To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice. * To provide support for the Business Estimating Function as required from time to time * To manage the provision of technical support to the contract. * To obtain and support the training for the site team. * To carry out staff appraisals for direct reports setting out training and development programs as required. * Maintain a close working relationship with Commercial, Engineering, Estimating / Work Winning and Support teams, ensuring cohesion when entering into a new Project. * Deliver a clear and defined development strategy that aligns with the guiding principles of Integral as a whole. * Assist in final contract negotiations prior to contract award (including such matters as commercial and engineering matters. * Provide engineering support (Mechanical or Electrical) as necessary to the business should workload demand in other areas or other new works. * To take responsibility for the overall performance of your team. * To develop customer relationships and provide excellent customer service. * To lead, motivate and develop the management and site based team. * All employees are required to fulfil their legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions, and to follow all guidance and instructions given in this respect. Essential & Desirable Skills: * The successful candidate will be qualified to at least HNC level in Electrical/Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or recognised equivalent; and will possess: * Leadership experience combined with good Mechanical and Electrical technical knowledge * A proven track record of delivery within the M&E installation sector * Experience managing large site based team. * Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve * High level of self-motivation, organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines * Commercial Aptitude. * Negotiation skills. * Proven accounts and financial management track record
