The Team Our Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) team is built on deep industry sector expertise with a demonstrably differentiated ability to address the most complex business problems and deliver dramatic and sustainable business performance improvements. Our highly respected Transformationteam focuses on enterprise wide change to help drive EBITDA improvement. Our highly experienced experts successfullyworkwithclients in strategic transformation situations where a company is looking to sustainably improve their earnings and profitability goals. We also help our clients navigate complex merger integrations and carve-outs and work for corporations across several industriesincluding Hospitality, Retail, Consumer Products, Industrials, Manufacturing, Media and, Healthcare/Life Sciences. The Role The role will focus on hospitality sector clients to develop and implement forward-looking concepts and support clients in the context of transformation projects. Assignments will cover: * Completing bottom-up assessment to identify performance improvements * Quantifying EBITDA / cash improvements * Delivering Rapid Results / 100-Day Improvement Plans * Merger integration / Carve-Out * Interim Leadership Whilst the role will focus on hospitality clients and assignments, and successful candidates will draw on specific hospitality-sector expertise, A&M's CTS team works across industries and therefore the role affords opportunities also to broaden experience across multiple related sectors. The Responsibilities From the beginning, you will work in a fast-growing and dynamic Pan-European team to: * identify a portfolio of high impact opportunities to improve EBITDA and cash flow across the enterprise, ranging from quick wins to the 'tough calls' that deliver transformational results * review performance figures and analyse data to develop fact-based analysis to examine the root cause of problems * conduct an initial rapid diagnostic into the company's and / or properties immediate and future cash needs, profitability, cost base, major operational issues, market position and options for improvement (including major operational restructuring / re-organisation) * develop and implement comprehensive profitability and working capital improvements to help stabilise financial and operational performance * identify and quantify opportunities to unlock shareholder value by divesting and/or improving under-performing and non-core business units or properties or brands * increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the transformation program and determine how to minimise implementation risks and maximise success The Requirements Ideal candidates should possess: * hospitality sector experience, either in consulting roles and / or directly from the industry * excellent financial skills and analytical rigour * previous exposure in such areas as operational restructuring, turnaround management, merger integration, carve-outs, business transformation and/or performance improvement * a keen eye for the business analysis of cost structures and robust understanding of accounting and business plan modelling * exposure to business plan development, financial projections development and review, designing and implementing cash conservation guidelines and controls Voluntary Inclusion It is Alvarez & Marsal's policy to provide and promote equal opportunity in employment, compensation, and other terms and conditions of employment without discrimination because of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, pregnancy, marital status, family status, religion, national origin, age or disability or any other non-merit based factor in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
