Transport Planner Portadown Area Full-Time & Perm Salary negotiable Zenrec Exclusive Company Bio A family owned transport business is expanding their transport team and as such, we have this exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to further their career within a reputable company. This position will involve flexible working hours, and being available to rotate shifts if and when required. It will involve some weekend work. These hours must be suitable to any individual considering this position. Role Reporting to the transport manager the day to day role will involve: Load building, may include groupage loads Planning routes for driver including liaising with shipping companies Being aware of scheduled maintenance & cleaning of vehicles Administration in a TMS Providing excellent customer service Criteria 3 years' experience in a similar position Previous experience in using a TMS Maths & English GCSE at Grade B and 3 other GCSE's at Grade C or above Good geographical knowledge of UK and Ireland Excellent communication skills Full driving licence Wilingl to work weekends on rota It would be desirable to have a transport degree or similar & CPC qualification (Our client reserves the right to expand on the above criteria to facilitate shortlisting) Salary & Benefits * Salary Negotiable * On site gym Our client is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community
