Job Description
Vacancy: Maintenance Electrician Location: Doncaster (DN4) Hours/Shift Pattern - 06:00 - 18:00/18:00 - 06:00 (2 days/2 nights, 4 off) Salary: £29684 - £33779 + Productivity Bonus and Overtime Our Client: Our client is an established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN4) The Role: This role will involve carrying out fault finding and repair activities in the event of any breakdowns. In addition, planned maintenance schedules and projects, including supporting drawings and documents will be undertaken in line with scheduling. Duties/Responsibilities: * Working in line with H&S procedures and policy * Keeping accurate records of any maintenance and repairs * Repairing all machinery including relays, switches etc * Working with AC & DC motors * Adjustment of mechanical breaks (SEW) * Unloading and storage of all stock and maintenance deliveries * Operating to and creating any risk assessments and method statements * Working from AutoCAD drawings including reading and interpreting mechanical drawings * Panel building (new & refurb) * PLC programming & fault finding * HMI programming * Instrumentation installation & replacement * Sensor replacement, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, * Guard switches and interlock systems * Conduit, tray, armoured cables, SY, YY, CY, * Office wiring * Network CAT5 wiring * Portable appliance testing * Installation testing * General factory electrical maintenance and installation * General housekeeping duties * Any other reasonable duties Qualifications/Experience: * Electrical Apprenticeship, preferably to ONC standard * Experience of PLC & HMI control systems * A good understanding of variable speed drives * Awareness of the 18th Edition Regulations * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team * Aability to work under pressure during breakdowns * Aability to work at heights and confined spaces * Working on a continental shift of 2day shift, 2 night shifts and 4 days off, this role will require working weekend and night shifts Aqumen Business Solutions is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
