Job Description
Role 1: Performance Test Lead Location Warwick, UK Employment Type / Duration permanent Desirable skill IBM Rational Performance Tester, Perl scripting Job Description / Responsibilities Communicating with the Development, Business Analysts and SMEs to understand/clarify Non Functional requirements Producing Performance Test Plans, the status of design, execution and other related activities Creating performance test scenarios for Non Functional Requirements, creating scripts for these, executing and reporting on the results of performance testing Analyzing performance test results and highlighting root cause of performance bottlenecks Creating Performance test reports including associated metrics Essential skills include 2+ years providing Non-functional testing delivery Performance Testing using HP Load Runner Experience in using the Protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), FTP, Web Services protocols. Programming skills in C Language and JavaScript Other skills: Unix, SQL, Databases, Networks Scripting using load runner VuGen to simulate the real user's behavior. Ability to carry out enhancements like Correlation, Parameterization & Error Handling. Building and executing test scenarios in HP LoadRunner Controller Experience in Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, very good oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision Excellent communication skills Be passionate about client Testing Services Ownership, initiative and positive approach ('can-do' attitude) Willing to be open, frank and honest with feedback Accepts change and manages the effects well
