About us We are looking for a Solution Architect - CRM Salesforce to join our talented software development team to take on responsibility for our solution architecture, technical and system design activities; ensuring solution development designs and technical delivery conforms to programme and platform objectives and vision You will lead development of solution and technical architectures, including: ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers, coordinating design activity within a development team and/or project, communicating the technical design and the rationale driving that design to development teams and wider stakeholder community; driving development of platform and product roadmaps to meet the current and future business use cases. You will be required to take an active role in the development of other staff through mentoring of more junior SA resources. About you Now you know all about the role and about National Grid, here is what we want from you to be successful in securing this exciting position. * Demonstrable track record in delivery of solution and technical architecture for programmes of work. * Breadth and depth of technical knowledge in data architecture, data management, data platforms & technologies, data science and Business Intelligence. * Stakeholder management and influencing skills covering colleagues, partners / vendors and project sponsors. * Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) Sales Cloud, FSL and mobile SDK with end-to-end implementation experience, including integration flows with multiple business applications. * Expert knowledge on SDLC processes, solution architecture, system analysis & design, quality, change and risk management * Strong experience with configuration, customization and programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com. * Strong practical deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, and AppExchange deployment. * Programming experience with the following languages, J2EE, HTML XML, SQL, Oracle. What you'll get A salary c. 68 - 72k depending on experience as well as your base salary, a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
