Job Description
Packing Operative, ROTATING SHIFTS & NIGHTSHIFT , Mirfield WF14, Immediate Starts Aqumen Recruitment is currently recruiting packing operatives for our client based in Mirfield WF14 our client is easily accessed from Huddersfield, Dewsbury & Brighouse. Our client established over 100 years ago, is a leading manufacturer of pillows, duvets & mattress protectors. Our client is now seeking packing operatives on a long term basis to support their packing department, within their manufacturing site in Mirfield. Working Hours: Rotating: Earlies 06.015-14.15 & 14.15-22.15 Nights: 22:15 - 06:15 The role requires flexibility, as you will be trained on different locations and be expected to move from one work location to another. Full training will be given in order for you to be flexible throughout the factory. The Role: * Packing Product up to 25KG in a timely & efficient manner in line with customer specification, whilst supporting on a production line. * Checking quality of product * This role is repetitive & can be strenuous * Place product onto pallets & safe use of a shrink wrap machine to wrap finished product. * Use of a PPT truck to safely move product from packing to dispatch * To maintain levels of housekeeping and ensure all recycling initiatives are adhered too * To work effectively and safety in line with all Health & Safety requirements * To carry out any other duties within the broad remit of the role as requested from time to time by the relevant supervisors and managers Pay rates £8.21 per hour basic hours & Overtime is paid after 37.5 hours worked. - 30 minute break is deducted.
