Band 6 - Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner Permanent or 12 month secondment As part of the transformation within EPUT and to further develop the Eating Disorder Service, an opportunity has arisen for an Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner. As an Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner, you will work within the Essex Adult Eating Disorders Service to enable the delivery of FREED (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders). This post has been created to support this extended remit. The service covers the whole county of Essex, but you will be expected to support the FREED project in the west of the country as well as other parts of the county. You will work under the supervision of the Senior Eating Disorders Practitioner FREED Co-ordinator and Clinical Nurse Specialists, but you will be required to undertake the duties of the post without supervision. You will demonstrate good leadership skills whilst ensuring robust standards of care are in place, including physical, mental health and social needs ensuring theses are implemented and evaluated.
