Research and Enterprise Office (REO) We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Post-Award team within the Research and Enterprise office, to provide financial and administrative support to the Senior Finance Assistant for the University's research and knowledge exchange activities. Duties of the Role As Finance Assistant you will provide guidance, advice and support to academic departments and Knowledge Exchange Managers on the post-award financial administration of research and knowledge exchange awards; prepare claims and invoices; set up new research and knowledge exchange projects on the Finance System; and resolve problems and queries raised by academic staff in relation to their projects A full list of duties can be found within the jobpack attached. Qualification and Skills required The successful candidate will be highly numerate and have experience of financial systems and budgetary control; excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, whilst managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
