Job Description

ALCBF Director LHGP Asset Management is looking for a Director to support the investment management team of the ALCB Fund (www.alcbfund.com). This includes: Originating and executing fund transactions Performing credit and financial analysis of companies across various sectors covered by the Fund Conduct due diligence on proposed investments Preparing investment materials for the Investment Committee and Board Liaising with third party service providers (e.g. lawyers, rating agencies, hedging providers, arrangers) on capital market transactions Providing guidance to associates and director peers Assisting in the production of monitoring reports for distribution to the Board and others within agreed timescales Support in managing distressed/ problem credits Support other non-deal related front- and middle-office functions An ideal candidate would present the following level of experience and relevant skillsets: Degree from leading international university (post-graduate or CFA preferred) 4-8 years' experience in finance or management consulting (DCM and/or EM background desirable) Excellent written English and French language skills necessary, knowledge of Arabic and/or Portuguese a plus Proficient in the use of MS office, excellent MS Excel and modeling skills Experience in due diligence and credit analysis of debt investment opportunities in target sectors and markets (experience in emerging/ frontier markets preferred) Experience in monitoring distressed/ problem credits desirable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to organise and track overlapping assignments with minimal supervision The candidate will be located in London, UK.
