Role: Director of Data Location: London ROLE MISSION As the Director of Data and Analytics for the Centre of Excellence you will be developing the global listening, analytics, insights and reporting practices and systems. ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING You'll be joining a permanent on-site creative team who are super passionate about creating and producing the best products. You will work with brand teams and PDC teams to identify quick wins and proofs of concept, and with Unilever's Head of Social and Digital to develop methodologies for proving the business impact of our work Your direct reports; Data analysts* who are responsible in their market for using social data. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE As the Director of Data and Analytics for the Centre of Excellence you will be responsible, along with the rest of the team, for the development and maintenance of the world's largest in-house community management team. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing the global listening, analytics, insights and reporting practices and systems. Working with our existing partners Brandwatch, Hootsuite etc. Key to this role will be demonstrating the value of the work done by the community managers and teams in the markets. The first and most important task of the role will be to establish the key metrics that we will be tracking, identifying the data sources to track these and building a system to gather and display this data. A hands-on practitioner you will be directly involved in building out our pitches to internal clients to demonstrate the potential of community management; gathering data form our main tools, providing analysis and telling a story with it. WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL * Data analysis for both creative and general business application * Data presentation through a compelling narrative for a senior audience to drive business change * Experience of developing audience segmentations, attribution modelling A broad knowledge of social media data and tools * Managing teams and developing their individual skills (preferably in multiple markets * Developing reporting systems, templates and processes * Working with senior global marketing clients as a trusted advisor and partner * Applying automation, UX and use of multiple data sources to ensure timely delivery of useful insights to multiple stakeholders * Pitching for new business using compelling data driven insights that demonstrate the need for a robust community management solution * Experience of developing audience segmentations, attribution modelling ABOUT OUR COMPANY Lots of agencies say they're different.
