Job Description

My rapidly expanding client are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage existing and future hotel projects that are currently within construction or planning phase. They are looking for somebody with excellent communication skills who would liaise with contractors across the UK & Ireland sites, agreeing timescales, budget control and relaying information back to head office in London. This role is reporting to the Group Head of Operations and will have a dotted line to the Chairman. You will be flexible on visiting sites across the portfolio, which would include weekly visits to Dublin. Your Responsibilities would include: * Adopt "zero tolerance" to non-adherence to safe working, in line with the Safety Strategy. * Ensure Appropriate Records are maintained throughout the Project Period and are suitably registered for Archive Purposes. * Be aware of the production, on-going analysis & mitigation of project risks. * Assist with the production of construction and short term programmes on the projects allocated to them. * Maintain a good level of understanding of construction techniques, problems and solutions and work closely together with external construction companies to review and develop appropriate techniques and cost effective solutions. * Deliver projects in line with our client's requirements. * Adopt the use of best practice * Must be able to provide a good quality technical / construction service throughout the Contract Period. * Support and develop good working relationships with Contractors / Sub-contractors and Supply Chain Partners to maximise efficiency and good production on site. * Provide support on such matters to the Head Office Team, during the construction phases. * Undertake regular safety inspections within the UK & Ireland sites. * To instigate, control and run projects from contract award to handover within budgetary constraints. * To organise, co-ordinate and control labour and material resources * To prepare and monitor short term programmes * Requisition materials and schedule deliveries in accordance with programme requirements and procurement procedures Responsibilities: My rapidly expanding client are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage existing and future hotel projects that are currently within construction or planning phase.
