Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Employment Tax Management Level Associate Job Description & Summary A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues. Your main responsibilities: * Maintaining standing data and processing variable data to ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of net salaries and deductions, including social security deductions and taxes; * Net to gross/gross to net calculations; * Processing vacation and sick-leaves; * Calculation of working time over long reference period; * Preparing and filing payroll tax, social security and other statutory returns associated with the payroll function and legal practice in Bulgaria; * Administration of new starters, leavers, transfers; * Handling payroll queries from our clients, advise and consulting where appropriate; * Processing and distributing monthly payroll reports; * Communicating with the tax, social security and other authorities . Requirements: * Previous experience in the payroll administration - at least 1-2 years; * Knowledge on personal income taxation, social security and employment related legislation; * Strong planning and organisational skills and proven ability to multi-task with a focus on achieving results; * Adaptability and skill in prioritising a busy workload to ensure all deadlines are met in a pressurised environment; * Exceptional attention to detail with ability to maintain accuracy all times; * High personal standards with a tendency to strive for excellence in their work; * A positive outlook with a flexible attitude and willingness to take additional responsibilities; * Strong communication and team working skills, ability to build strong effective relationships with a range of stakeholders; * Proficiency in English; * Computer literacy in Microsoft Office - Advanced in Excel; * Previous experience in working in a consulting firm will be considered an advantage.
