Job Description
Military Medical Personnel are currently seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with experience in Neurological Rehabilitation for a permanent, full-time role with a private Hospital in South Newton, near Salisbury. The Hospital is a specialist provider of neurological and complex care services, and is well appointed with unrivalled facilities. They offer a complete pathway of inpatient care with a choice of settings, from acute care and intensive rehabilitation within the Hospital, to slow stream rehabilitation in a range of home environments, and within the framework of the two Neurorehabilitation and Neurobehavioural pathways. Once in position, you will be ensuring the delivery of effective Speech and Language Therapy across the site, though providing world-class services, and offering supervision and guidance to the junior Speech and Language Therapy staff. To apply for this role, you will need to be a qualified & HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist, and show a passion for working with patients displaying a variety of Neurological presentations and/or cognitive impairments. Experience of supporting clients with cognitive communications disorders and a working knowledge of a range of models of SLT practice will also be required.
