You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. Are you an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist looking to join a dynamic team of paediatric therapists? This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in developing our Early Years' Service. We currently have a permanent 1.0 wte Specialist Speech and Language Therapist post available for a motivated, innovative therapist that is driven by improving outcomes for children and families through Quality Improvement. This is a new post and part of our integrated plan to improve outcomes within Early Years. You will be well supported by the Team Lead and Service Manager, and work within a team that consists of therapists and assistants. You will be expected to lead on training and provide supervision and education opportunities for less experienced members of the team. All staff are supported to participate in a robust supervision programme and provided with regular CPD opportunities. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and social care to provide a genuinely child-centred service in a variety of locations, including clinics, children's own homes, nurseries and schools. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous success in developing and leading on the implementation of delivery models that meet the challenges of partnership working.
