About the role: In this role ofApp Optimisation Manager , you will support the operationalisation of the mobile strategy and will be responsible for its successful implementation. You will work with Product Managers to understand the product roadmap, work with cross functional teams to drive product and feature marketing plans. Ultimately the success of this role will be measured by app download, activation & engagement leading to improved business performance. This role can be based either in London , UK or Berlin/Dreilinden Germany. In the role you will be encouraged to: * App Store Optimisation * Operationalise and track App Store Optimisation strategy (ASO) to drive download * Establish process of creating and optimising app store content, partner with agencies to test and scale creative content to increase reach & app download * Track and scale current app download & store optimisation initiatives in close partnership with product and marketing teams * Bring and maintain Best Practices to scale App Store Optimisation * Support the communications plan to showcase value proposition and key customer benefits of the product to internal and external partners * Work cross-functionally with marketing teams in eBay's core markets as well as our Global marketing organization to drive adoption * Develop and maintain an App Store and mobile app download optimisation launch calendar * Close the feedback loop to identify product gaps based on customer feedback and influence prioritization of roadmaps to address these gaps * Asks the right questions to understand what problem the product solves for and articulates that to into the right messaging, positioning statements for customers * Working with Market Insights and Analytics teams to get deeper understanding of the app customer Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in performance marketing for mobile apps, with experience in ASO a distinct advantage * Experience in taking new products to market * Experience in eCommerce is an advantage * Balances technical and eye for business; able to communicate what is possible and what will have the biggest impact * Ability to persuade and influence partner/teams to take action in areas identified * Deep comprehension of the eBay product and marketing capabilities * Builds positive relationships internally and externally; an active listener and clear communicator * Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred Benefits: Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
