Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Home Based - within the UK Salary: Competitive Salary + 7% Contributory Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare for family, Holiday 25 Days + 8 Stats, Mobile, Laptop. Company; We have a rare opportunity to join this well established organisation, within the engineering industry where my clients are proud of their sustainable competitive products which they manufacture in the UK. This large organisation is well known for their commitment to continuous development and outstanding service. The role; Working for their Marine Defence division, you will be tasked with developing their existing key accounts across the world working closely with end users and contractors in the marine/defence marketplace mainly. This is as much a sales role as a project manager's role from generating the enquiry/lead through to the finished article, therefore you will be working closely with the in house design team, holding meetings and liaising with colleagues at all levels to ensure completion / client satisfaction. You; You will have an Engineering Qualification and have working knowledge/background within the Defence market in an international sales capacity. You'll be home based and the majority of your work will be handled remotely due to the covid-19 outbreak. However, when it's safe to do so you'll enjoy travelling as this role will take you around the world. Ideally you'll have experience selling to the Defence or Marine Market. This role also comes with the opportunity to progress into senior management (short to medium timescales) My clients are looking to move quickly so please get in touch ASAP.
