Job Description

Job Title International Settlements Oversight AVP Location Glasgow Global Markets Operations is the engine responsible for ensuring the execution and servicing of all products and services. Their core objective is to deliver service excellence by executing processes in the safest and most efficient way, leveraging automation and 'Lean' approaches to achieve this. Some of the core processes that GMO deliver include Post Trade Services, FX Operations, Collateral & Liquidity operations. What will you be doing? * Support the Functional Leads with the day to day management of the Vendor & key stakeholders, * Manage business engagement relationships while supporting delivery of enhancements to the Securities Settlements/Asset servicing operating model, * Support delivery of solutions to FO business partners that improve the overall service being provided by Securities Settlements & Asset Servicing, * Support delivery of projects across strategic and regulatory initiatives, * Facilitate the management of the performance of the Utility partner, * Measurement and reporting on utility performance, * Management of retained key high risk processes and the provision of a platinum level of service to Prime Brokerage clients, * Work collaboratively with our key partners to ensure consistency, where possible in how we approach our day to day activities, * Nurture an agile continuous improvement environment within the team and stakeholders to deliver market leading customer service, What we're looking for: * Knowledge of securities markets including their rules and nuances, * Knowledge of Asset Servicing flows, * Track record of being able to leverage strong communication, influencing & relationship management skills to drive change across an Organisation, * Experience of working with a third party vendor. Skills that will help you in the role: * Excellent communication skills both orally and via email, will the ability to analyse data and present in a coherent and understandable manner, * Ability to work on multiple task simultaneously managing challenging stakeholders and deadlines, * Experience producing MI & business packs for senior business stakeholders with a high level understanding of the trade lifecycle, * Experienced of working within the Operations function of a top tier investment bank.
