The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consulting Services (MACS) team is looking for driven, multi-disciplinary individuals to support the strategy and delivery of our client's inorganic Corporate Strategies. Specifically, we are looking for team members with experience in M&A consulting or corporate strategy divisions of leading companies. Our MACS offering combines leading acquisition and divestiture experience with deep industry and functional expertise. Your role Our M&A Operations Consulting team is looking for a M&A-focused Manager who can combine deep functional supply chain understanding with large scale transaction execution experience to join our growing team. If you are passionate about working with COO, CPO and CFO functions of FTSE 100 and equivalent organisations to share in the execution and transformation of the most iconic and complex deals, read on! We bring a systematic and process led approach to our clients, utilising our analytical and digital capabilities to help our clients solve the challenges they face today and design the future needs of their businesses. Our client work includes digital supply chain transformation, supply chain planning (IBP), manufacturing technical transfer, sourcing and procurement, strategy and operating model design. Our approach is to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving transactional and transformational change, identify opportunities and develop solutions that are appropriate for the new organisation as a whole. This, coupled with our industry expertise, enables us to deliver meaningful and contextually relevant recommendations to our clients. Responsibilities * Lead the methodical planning and implementation of supply chain integration and separation projects that deliver a fit-for-purpose supply chain function at the date of separation or integration ('Day 1') * Define and deliver supply chain transaction execution readiness approach that enables monitoring and corrective intervention in the run up to Day 1 * Lead and support committed teams to: * conduct supply chain operating model fine-tuning and organisational design to deliver post-transaction supply chain continuity (manage customer orders, transport and logistics, source materials and services, purchase orders) * deliver impact assessments for core supply chain processes (order-to-fulfill, procure-to-pay) * define and assess synergy targets and business plans, including management of synergy realisation * perform analysis and synthesise supply chain and other data into useful insights * Deliver in a dynamic and time-sensitive programme environment, managing multiple tasks, requirements and stakeholders * Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution * Partnering with the full Deloitte network to deliver our business * Coaching and mentoring junior staff Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk.
