Applications are invited for a 22.5 hours permanent Band 6 Specialist Community Physiotherapist with special interest in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Applications are invited for a 22.5 hours permanent Band 6 Specialist Community Physiotherapist with special interest in Cardiac Rehabilitation. This post is based within Cowal Community Hospital. You will take responsibility for a community clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care and provide Cardiac Rehabilitation services. You will work within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients. You will also be required to supervise students on clinical placement. You will have a BSc Physiotherapy or above qualification. Work areas also include Cowal and surrounding area and occasional cover for Community Hospital Admissions, Palliative and Rehab Wards, and Rehabilitation classes including a Cardiac rehabilitation, falls & mobility clinic and occasional out patients. There are opportunities for training both internally and externally with funding available. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll & Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
