Business Development Manager – Mail/Courier/Distribution – Central London Salary £37,500K to £40K Base – with Excellent Commission OTE £58K Uncapped so can earn a lot more -plus Travel Allowance Our Client is a niche market Mail/Courier operator within the UK, offering fully tracked time critical Mail/courier solutions to the Government, Financial and Legal institutions, working with many global, multi-national and blue-chip companies. They are looking for a bright ambitious Business Development Manager to join the team, you must be an excellent communicator and have experience in Business Development and Sales – meeting with existing clients and up-selling and cross selling new revenue streams. This role will cover Central London – so a travel allowance rather than a Company Car is offered The role You will be visiting existing clients and making sure they are using all the services that are available – so upselling and cross selling within the existing Customer base. Generating New Business from within the existing contracts and prospecting brand new Clients Planning your week and appointments Responding to Leads passed to you from the inhouse team The Person Excellent relationship building / identifying opportunities and closing ability Ability to prioritise, organise & manage time efficiently essential. A self starter. Able to work successfully on own initiative, but also as part of the team. Able to negotiate at all levels and a superb communicator, networker and closer of all type and levels of business. Ability to maintain internal & external professional relationships.
